Visit the business and financial capital of Germany

Frankfurt is a city of skyscrapers and business opportunities. Several world-famous trade fairs have made their home here and attract business travellers from all over the world. Despite its reputation as a centre of business, Frankfurt is also an attractive tourist destination, with its wonderfully contrasting modern and traditional architecture.

Flowing through the centre of this dynamic and fast-paced city is the river Main, a calming influence and the perfect place for a relaxing riverside stroll. Walk across the Eisener Steg, the old iron footbridge that is a symbol of Frankfurt, and enjoy the evening views of the illuminated city. In Frankfurt you can choose between first-class restaurants and popular beer halls. Every visitor should also try Apfelwein, a local speciality. Sofia Airport

Sofia Airport

Compared to other European hubs, Bulgaria's international airport is small and easily manageable. Around 70 aircraft land at Sofia Airport every day and the airport serves nearly three million passengers a year.

Since 2015 the airport's Terminal 2 has been connected to the city by a metro line, which will take you to the centre of Sofia in 20 minutes for just under a euro. The official "OK Supertrans" taxis are also very reasonably priced.
