Situation at Brussels airport (updated 30th march 14:42)

We inform all passengers that Brussels Airport remains closed, therefore the following Adria Airways flights from/to Brussels are cancelled between March 31st and April 13th:

- Flight JP376 Ljubljana – Brussels and flight JP377 Brussels – Ljubljana - Flight JP394 Ljubljana – Brussels and flight JP395 Brussels – Ljubljana - Flight JP396 Tirana – Brussels and flight JP397 Brussels – Tirana

Passengers travelling via Brussels will be redirected to their final destination through other airports.

If Brussels is your departure or final destination, travel to/from Ljubljana is available via Amsterdam Airport (AMS). Ground transport will be provided between Brussels (Embassy of Republic of Slovenia) and Amsterdam Airport by the following timetable:

Passengers holding tickets for flights to/from/via Brussels between March 22nd and including April 13th may also choose between the following options in the event of flight cancellation by Adria Airways:

1) full reimbursement of travel / full refund of unused portion of flight or
2) free change of travel date, travel must start no later than May 31st 2016

Passengers will be contacted by the airline. Should we not be able to reach you in case of insufficient contact details in your reservation and you hold tickets for respective flights, we kindly ask you to please contact Adria Airways Call Centre +386 4 259 4582 or email booking@adria.si.

All passengers travelling from Ljubljana will fly directly to fternoon flights Maastrciht. Transport from Maastricht Airport to Brussels is not organized.

Flights JP 376 Ljubljana Liege and JP377 Liege Ljubljana tomorrow, March 26th, are redirected to Maastricht Airport (MST)

All passengers travelling from Ljubljana will fly directly to Maastrciht. Transport from Maastricht Airport to Brussels is not organized. We will reimburse you costs of public transportation for travel between Maastricht Airport and Brussels. 

Passengers travelling from Liege to Ljubljana on flight JP377 should come to Liege Airport. Bus transport will be provided to Maastrciht Airport. Passengers should arrive to check-in (Liege Airport) and contact Swissport staff who will redirect them to the bus. Buses will be marked with “Adria Airways” sign. Departure of bus from Liege Airport is scheduled for 9.00 in the morning.

Adria Airways flights JP394 Ljubljana Liege and JP395 Liege Ljubljana on Sunday evening, March 27th, have been cancelled. All passengers will be rebooked via Amsterdam Airport (flights JP498 Ljubljana Amsterdam and JP499 Amsterdam Ljubljana), ground transport from Brussels will be provided (pick up point Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Brussels at 15.00). Passengers will be contacted by the airline. Should we not be able to reach you in case of insufficient contact details in your reservation and you hold tickets for respective flights, we kindly ask you to please contact Adria Airways Call Centre +386 4 259 4582 or email booking@adria.si.

 According to the information provided by Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Brussels, public transport in Belgium now runs normally. All passenger are therefore informed that as of March 26th we will no longer provide organized transport to/from Liege (pick up point Slovenian Embassy in Brussels). We will reimburse you costs of public transportation for travel between Brussels and Liege Airport.

For operational reasons Liege Airport has cancelled Adria Airways flights JP376 Ljubljana Liege and JP377 Liege Ljubljana tomorrow, 25.3. All passengers will be rebooked to evening flights JP 394 Ljubljana Liege and JP395 Liege Ljubljana. Meeting point for ground transport from Brussels at 17.00 in front of Embassy of Republic of Slovenia in Brussels.

Meeting point at 05.00 in front of Embassy of Republic of Slovenia in Brussels; bus departure at 05.30, arrival at Liege airport at 07.00

- Flight JP 395 LGG LJU 20.45 22 25:

Meeting point at 17.00 in front of Embassy of Republic of Slovenia in Brussels; bus departure at 17.30, arrival at Liege airport at 19.00

Passengers are advised to check our website for updates.

All passengers are informed that Brussels airport remains closed tomorrow, March 24th. All Adria Airways flights departing on March 24th from/to Brussels are redirected to Liege.

Ground transportation will be provided from Brussels (pick up point in front of the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Brussels) to Liege Airport and vice versa, transport information to follow. Passengers are advised to contact Adria Airways call centre +386 4 259 4582 (or booking@adria.si) and follow information published on our website.

It is expected that all other Adria Airways scheduled flights to/from Brussels will be redirected to Liege until Brussels airport is reopened. Information will be regularly updated.

Update 22. 3. 2016 at 17:00

We continue to inform all Adria Airways passengers travelling to/from/via Brussels on 22nd and 23rd March 2016 that they may travel to Ljubljana from Paris (CDG Airport) on board JP323 from Paris to Ljubljana tomorrow (23.3. at 9:55 local time). All passengers are requested to be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure.

Further information on other Adria Airways flights to and from Brussels will follow. Adria Airways is in contact with the Embassy of Republic of Slovenia in Brussels and Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


Update 22. 3. 2016 at 12:00

Adria Airways flights

  • Ljubljana-Brussels JP394 and Brussels-Ljubljana JP395 (today)
  • Ljubljana-Brussels JP 376 and Brussels-Ljubljana JP377 (tomorrow)

will be cancelled.

Passengers should contact the point of their ticket purchase (travel agent) or Adria Airways Call center +386 4 259 4582 (or booking@adria.si). All passengers that hold JP flight tickets to and from BRU on any Adria Airways flights for travel from 22 March until 28th March are entitled to:

1.)   Passenger, holding flight ticket for travel on 22.3.2016: full refund for unused portion of flight

2.)   Passenger, holding flight ticket for travel between 23.3.-28.3.2016: free of charge change of date of travel latest until 30.4.2016

Passengers may change the destination from Brussels to Paris. Further information will follow. 

Passengers from flights to/from/via Brussels on 22nd and 23rd March 2016 may come to Paris and will be taken onboard JP323 from Paris to Ljubljana tomorrow (23.3. at 9:55 local time). All passengers are requested to be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure.

 

Adria Airways is informing all passengers that Brussels airport is closed and all incoming flights of Adria Airways are diverted to surrounding airports in accordance to Eurocontrol instructions.

All passengers travelling form Brussels airport are kindly asked to check web page www.adria.si for further information and instructions. Please also check our facebook and twitter. 

Due to the emergency situation at Brussels Airport, Adria Airways flights have been diverted to other airports. Flight JP376 (Ljubljana - Brussels) was diverted to Liege, flight JP7175 (Tallinn - Brussels) was diverted to Liege, flight JP468 (Tirana – Brussels – Paris CDG) was diverted directly to Paris.

Return flights JP377 (Brussels – Ljubljana), JP469 (Brussels – Tirana) and JP7176 (Brussels – Taliln) have been cancelled. 

Passengers, who were on board Adria Airways flights to Brussels, have landed on alternative airports. All passengers were offered alternative transport to Brussels or transfer home from other airports. Passengers booked on todays flights to Brussels, will be contacted from Adria Airways staff.
